Coconut-Laced Black Sticky Rice Pudding
Rice pudding is a dessert I love and this is one of my favorite versions. It’s exotic and delicious. You can serve it if you’re looking for a Wow! factor but it’s so easy to make you can also prepare it for a personal treat.
Oranges in Cointreau
This delightfully different dessert is so easy to make, yet sumptuous enough to satisfy even the most sophisticated palate. It’s delicious topped with whipped cream, but I love to serve it as an oh-so-chic sundae, over vanilla ice cream or a complementary sorbet. Yum!
Marble Cheesecake
This is a rich and delicious cheesecake. The gingersnap crust and pumpkin-flavored base accented with chocolate is an irresistible combination.
Make ahead
This cake is best made a day ahead and allowed
to chill in the refrigerator overnight.
Blackberry Peach Cobbler
This recipe is an adaptation of one that appeared in Gourmet magazine. It’s an absolutely mouth-watering dessert for late summer when these luscious fruits are
at their peak. The advantage to making it in the slow cooker, rather than in the oven, is that you
can be doing other things while it cooks to perfection.
Kids’ Favorite Fondue

editor and volunteer extraordinaire, for this oh-so-easy “fondue.” Creamy and delicious, it is a great hit with adults as well as kids. Give everyone their own fondue fork and serve with thick slices of French baguette, quartered, celery sticks or slices of green pepper.Continue reading
Chocolate Flan with Toasted Almonds
Here’s a deliciously decadent chocolate dessert. Save it for special occasions or treat yourself and enjoy. For a real treat, finish with a dollop of Coconut Whipped Cream.
Delectable Apple-Cranberry Coconut Crisp
I love to make this delicious dessert in the fall when apples and cranberries are in season. This version is a little tart, which suits my taste, but if you have a sweet tooth, add more sugar to the cranberry mixture.
